CNS Neuroscience and Therapeutics (CNSNT)
Journal Descriptions
CNS Neuroscience & Therapeutics is a peer-reviewed international medical journal focusing on research related to the central nervous system (CNS), including neurological and psychiatric disorders and their therapeutic approaches. The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, and translational studies covering neurology, neuropharmacology, clinical neuroscience, and experimental therapeutics. It was originally established in 1995 under the title CNS Drug Reviews and was renamed to its current title in 2008. The journal aims to bridge basic neuroscience research with clinical applications, particularly in diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, epilepsy, depression, schizophrenia, and other CNS disorders. It provides a platform for studies on drug development, pharmacological mechanisms, and novel therapeutic strategies. The journal is published by Wiley-Blackwell (John Wiley & Sons) and follows a rigorous peer-review process. It is indexed in major databases such as Web of Science (SCIE), Scopus, PubMed, and MEDLINE, making it a highly visible journal in neuroscience and pharmacology. The journal has strong international recognition and typically maintains a Q1 ranking in several neuroscience and pharmacology categories.
