Central European Journal of Engineering (CEJE)

Central European Journal of Engineering (CEJE) was an international peer-reviewed engineering journal that published research in broad areas of engineering and applied sciences. The journal was initially launched in 2006 and was co-published by Springer and Versita, later managed by De Gruyter Open. It provided a platform for interdisciplinary engineering research covering mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, materials science, aerospace engineering, and environmental engineering. The journal focused on both theoretical and applied engineering research, including structural analysis, computational modeling, manufacturing processes, systems engineering, and advanced materials. It aimed to support innovation in engineering practice by publishing original research articles, review papers, and technical studies. All articles were published in English and underwent peer review to ensure scientific quality. The journal was indexed in Scopus during its active years, which increased its visibility in international research communities. However, publication activity ceased after 2014, and the journal is now considered discontinued. Despite discontinuation, CEJE remains referenced in academic databases for historical engineering research published between 2011 and 2014. It contributed to the dissemination of Central European engineering research and supported collaboration between academic institutions and industry during its operational period.
