BSGF – Earth Sciences Bulletin (BSGF-ESB)
Journal Descriptions
The BSGF – Earth Sciences Bulletin is the scientific journal of the Geological Society of France, an association under the law of 1901 whose objective is to promote Earth Sciences. The BSGF covers all disciplines and themes of Earth Sciences dealing with the internal envelopes of the solid Earth (core, mantle, crust) and interactions with the hydrosphere, the biosphere and the atmosphere in the critical zone. Published works can deal with the nature, history and functioning of the Earth, climate change and life, subsurface resources, natural hazards and the environment. The OSGF publishes original articles and review articles, with no size limit, which can be grouped into thematic or regional special volumes led by guest editors. The peer review process (between submission and acceptance) usually takes 4-6 months. Accepted articles awaiting publication are online on the BSGF website, accessible to the community and citable. All published articles, regardless of their form, are accessible free of charge (Open Access articles) on the BSGF website and on the GeoScienceWorld website, provided that the authors have paid the publication fee.
