The Brazilian Oral Research (BOR) is an international, peer reviewed, open access scientific journal dedicated to publishing high quality research across all fields of dentistry and oral health sciences. Established in 2001 as the English language continuation of Pesquisa Odontológica Brasileira, the journal is published by the Sociedade Brasileira de Pesquisa Odontológica (SBPqO), the Brazilian Division of the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR). BOR provides a global platform for researchers, clinicians, and educators to disseminate original scientific findings that contribute to advances in oral health care and dental science. The journal publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, scoping reviews, clinical investigations, laboratory studies, and short communications covering periodontology, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, implant dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral pathology, dental materials, preventive dentistry, and community oral health.
