Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Research and Animal Science (BJVRAS) is a peer reviewed, open access scientific journal dedicated to publishing original research, review articles, preliminary notes, and case reports in veterinary medicine, animal science, and related disciplines. The journal is published by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo, one of the leading academic institutions in Latin America.
