Autrepart (Autrepart)
Journal Descriptions
Autrepart is a peer-reviewed journal co-published by the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) and Presses de Sciences Po. Its objective is to promote reflection on societies in the Global South to better understand their contemporary dynamics and demonstrate their diversity. The phenomena of globalization are relativizing the autonomy of states, intra- and international inequalities are widening, and major transformations are affecting both state policies and the very nature of institutions. The reactions and adaptations of societies in the Global South to these changes are at the heart of the journal's questions. The cross-disciplinary nature of the topics covered generally involves bringing together texts from different social science disciplines.
