Arkheologiia Evraziiskikh Stepei (Archaeology of the Eurasian Steppes) is an international peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to the archaeology, history, and cultural heritage of the Eurasian steppe region. Founded in 2019 by the A.Kh. Khalikov Institute of Archaeology of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, the journal provides a specialized platform for the publication of original research on the ancient and medieval societies that inhabited the vast Eurasian steppes. The journal covers a broad chronological range, from the Stone Age and Bronze Age to the Medieval period and early modern times. The publication emphasizes interdisciplinary research integrating archaeology, anthropology, history, environmental studies, and cultural heritage management. Major topics include the origins and development of nomadic and sedentary cultures, archaeological excavations, material culture studies, settlement archaeology, military archaeology, ancient technologies, art and religion, numismatics, epigraphy, and conservation of archaeological monuments.
