Annals of Tropical Pathology publishes technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in the field of Pathology and Tropical Medicine. Articles with clinical interest and implications are given preference. The objectives of the Journal are to promote research in laboratory medicine, promote research cooperation among Pathologists/Laboratory Physicians in Nigeria and other parts of the world, and to communicate the findings of such research to the academic and research community as well as practitioners in the field.The journal publishes a variety of scholarly articles including original research papers, review articles, case reports, and short communications. Its scope covers several disciplines such as anatomical pathology, clinical pathology, medical microbiology, parasitology, and laboratory medicine. Special emphasis is placed on diseases that are common in tropical regions, including infectious diseases, parasitic infections, and emerging health challenges affecting developing countries. Through a rigorous peer-review process, the journal ensures that published articles maintain high scientific and ethical standards. The aim of Annals of Tropical Pathology is to support the dissemination of knowledge that can improve disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
