American Journal of System Science is a journal which publishes the field of science that studies the nature of complex systems in nature, society, and science. It aims to develop scientific foundations, which are applicable in a variety of areas, such as engineering, biology, medicine and social sciences. The journal is dedicated to publishing high quality original and innovative papers on theories, methodologies, and applications of systems science and complexity science, as well as insightful survey papers.Accepted papers often present original research, theoretical insights, survey articles, and case studies that contribute to understanding dynamic systems, feedback mechanisms, modeling techniques, systems optimization, and the integration of complex system components. As an open‑access periodical, all articles are published online and freely available. Authors should be aware that journals from smaller publishers such as SAPub may not be indexed in major academic databases like Scopus or Web of Science, and verification of indexing and peer‑review practices is recommended before submission.
