Journal Descriptions

Acta Agrobotanica is a long established peer reviewed scientific journal dedicated to plant science and botanical research. It was first published in 1953 and is one of the oldest botanical journals in Poland. The journal is published by the Polish Botanical Society and focuses on agricultural botany, plant biology, and ecological plant research. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and short communications covering a wide range of topics in plant sciences. These include plant physiology, plant ecology, crop science, agricultural botany, seed biology, plant genetics, environmental interactions of plants, and plant biotechnology. It also includes studies on the adaptation of plants to environmental stress, biodiversity, and sustainable agricultural practices. Acta Agrobotanica plays an important role in advancing botanical and agricultural research, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe. It provides a platform for scientists, researchers, and agronomists to share findings related to plant development, productivity, and environmental interactions. The journal is indexed in several international scientific databases and is widely used in academic and research institutions for botanical and agricultural studies. It continues to contribute significantly to the global understanding of plant science and agricultural sustainability.
