Acta Acustica (AA)
Journal Descriptions
Acta Acustica is an international peer reviewed open access journal dedicated to the science and technology of acoustics. Published by the European Acoustics Association in collaboration with EDP Sciences, the journal was launched in 2020 as the successor to the long established journal Acta Acustica united with Acustica. The journal publishes high quality research articles, technical papers, review studies, and scientific communications related to all branches of acoustics and vibration science. Major subject areas include physical acoustics, psychoacoustics, room acoustics, speech communication, underwater acoustics, musical acoustics, environmental noise, aeroacoustics, and computational acoustics. The journal aims to promote international collaboration among acoustics researchers, engineers, and industry professionals. It follows a fully open access publishing model to ensure broad dissemination of scientific knowledge worldwide. Acta Acustica is indexed in major scholarly databases and serves as an important platform for innovative research in sound science and acoustic engineering.
