The Abraka Humanities Review is interdisciplinary in approach and is adapted to research and scholarship on the African continent and the world. The AHR foregrounds the interrelationship between research in the Arts and Humanities and developments in the African continent. Each volume of well – researched, data – driven academic papers emanate from the annual international conferences of the faculty of Arts as well as calls for papers. AHR cut across all aspects of Arts and Humanities: linguistics, African languages, modern European languages, English language and literature, Fine and Applied Arts, Music, Theatre Arts, Religious Studies and Philosophy, Gender and Diaspora Studies, History and International Studies and popular and Folk Culture.
