Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology (YDIT)

Yellamma Dasappa Institute of Technology is located in Raghuvanahalli on Kanakapura Road about them from Banashankari Bus stand.Its located right at the main road and well connected by BMTC. on books in library and Internet connectivity. Even thou ks in library and Internet connectivity. Even though wifi is available it doesn’t get connected. In YDIT, each classes have fan, tube lights etc,. but cannot assure that it might work properly.Even there is no water in college most of the time. Apart from all these the ceiling of top floor of a few blocks need to concretised. The devices used in the lab are just moderate, some may work and some doesn’t work. YDIT also provides hostel facilities, only for men. The hostel fees cost approximately 18000rs per year excluding food.The rooms provided are smal and only handful of students are preferred. The infrastructure of YDIT is not that bad the class rooms are well furnished.There is a separate block foe EC,CS,IS branches. ECE department have very good compared to other branches. The teachers are not very fluent in English. Since Mechanical and Civil are newly opened branches there is a lack of teachers. According to VTU rule, each student should have atleast 85% of attendance and 10% of attendance relaxation is allowed if their is any medical reasons. But most of the students maintain shortage of attendance and teachers provides attendance for them after paying a certain amount as fine. ...view more
