Facilitating world-class Technical Education through Emphasis on developing high quality institutions, academic excellence and innovative research and development programmes; Networking of institutions for optimum resource utilization; Dissemination of technical knowledge; Promoting industry-institute interaction for developing new products, services, and patents; Inculcating entrepreneurship; Technology Transfer at the grass-roots level; Focusing on non-formal education; Making Technical Education at state-level globally acceptable. To organize diverse training programmes from non-technical subjects to vocational areas for the educated boys and girls of urban as well as rural areas. To encourage Madhyamik and Higher Secondary passed out candidates towards job oriented programme in order to develop an aura of self employment endeavour.
