Alhaj Wavoo S. Seyed Abdur Rahman and his family founded the Wavoo Wajeeha Women's College of Arts and Science in Kayalpatnam in 2006 with the noble goal of bringing high-quality higher education to females in remote places where it was previously a emales in remote places where it was previously a privilege for a select few. The trust's goal was to help local Muslim women who were disadvantaged and disenfranchised by giving them an education and training that would enable them to become morally upright, culturally literate, socially responsible, intellectually sound, and technically proficient.
