Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s, College of Nursing, Ahmednagar, is recognized by Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The institute was established with RGNM Programme in institute was established with RGNM Programme in the year 2005 with intake capacity of 20, Basic B.Sc.Nursing in the year 2008 with intake capacity of 50, Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing in the year 2010 with intake capacity of 30 and Master in Nursing in the year 2017 in 03 disciplines with intake capacity of 16 (Medical Surgical Nursing, Mental health Nursing and Community Health Nursing) and in the year 2022 in 02 disciplines with intake of capacity of 10 (Child Health Nursing and Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing) is affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Aiming towards building a holistic culture and values the individuality of each student to uplift the innate potential. The pandemic made us to up skill technological competencies to cope with the modern challenges underpinning our vision. The current situation portrays future generation are exposed to violence and deviant behavior hence, It is a matter of great concern. The dedicated passionate teachers co-operative parents, supportive management and Society is the hope to overcome this situation.
