Vaish Technical Institute is situated in the Western end of Vaish Education Society Complex at Rohtak which is 75 kms from Delhi and its well connected by Road and Railway services.The foundation stone of one of the constituents of Vaish Education So e of one of the constituents of Vaish Education Society(Vaish High School) was laid down by none other than Mahatama Gandhi, The Father of Nation. The town of Rohtak is famous as Educational center of Haryana since there are educational facilities of all standards.To illustrate this we have got Medical College here which provides Degree as well as P.G. programs in all types on Medical Education, two no. Dental Colleges one run by Govt. Of Haryana & other in Private sector. Similarly 2 no. Engg. Colleges(in Private Sector) 2 no. Polytechnics(in Aided Pattern) are there to provide Technical Education to the students of Haryana as a whole. All types of Institutes of higher educational courses like M.B.A, B.Pharma, BAMS, L.L.B. etc. are also situated in different parts of city. Also Rohtak is seat of Maharishi Dayanand University, which provide education of all types to the aspirants of learning. • Vaish Technical Institute was established in 1957. It is situated in the Western end of Vaish Education Society Complex at Rohtak which is 75 kms from Delhi and it is well connected by Road and Railway services. The Institute is 95% Government Grant in Aid and is being run by Vaish Education Society Rohtak. The Institute is governed by the Bye Laws of Aided Polytechnic implemented in the State of Haryana by the Govt. of Haryana (Technical Education Department) vide notification dated 1st Feb 2006. The employees of the Institute are being paid The Pay, DP, DA, CCA, HRA, Medical allowance, Medical Reimbursement, Washing Allowance, Conveyance Allowance etc. in accordance with the pay & allowance in similar posts in Technical Education Department, Haryana as mentioned in clause 9 under Part-II ( Recruitment of Service) of above notification. • The Institute started its journey by introducing a Diploma in Civil Engineering in the year 1957. With a broad vision the Institute moved at a very fast pace and in result Diplomas in other streams were introduced and now the Institute offers Diploma in 7 different streams viz. Automobile Engg., Civil Engg., Electrical Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg., Library & information Sciences, Mechanical Engg. and Office Management & Computer Applications.
