Urmila Goswami College of Nursing was founded in 2018 and has been Recognized by Govt. of Gujarat, Gujarat Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council and Affiliated to Gujarat University. Generic G.N.M. & B.Sc. Nursing programmes are directed to upg .M. & B.Sc. Nursing programmes are directed to upgrade the critical thinking skills, competencies and standards required for practice of professional nursing. It is intended to enable the graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurse and midwife in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. In keeping with the spirit of independence and the euphoria it generated, SRHREE MONARK EDUCATION felt that they had to contribute to the much needed growth of our country. They believed that education has to be the solid base on which India should build its socio-political and economic edifice. Shree Monark Education Trust consist of a group of selfless, dedicated and hardworking educationists their endeavor in providing and establishing good professional education to the students has been a relentless effort on their part. The college offers educational and clinical experiences as well as technological exposures to the students. Students have excellent and challenging opportunities to explore nursing through exposure visits to Communities, Primary Health Centers, and Community Health Centers and have access to clinical experiences in various hospitals. With the blessings of the Goddess Saraswati, Shree Monark Education Trust (SMET) being the sponsoring/promoting body of the Monark University was established in the year 2001 as a result of the vision of its founder Chairman, Shri Mohanbharthi R. Goswami, a farmer and philanthropist, to promote world-class academic institutions. The following erstwhile institutions promoted by the Trust at fast pace have now come under the purview of the Monark University.
