About University of Vienna
The University of Vienna is one of the oldest and largest universities in Europe: around 10,700 employees work in 20 faculties and centres, including around 7,500 scientists. In autumn 2022, the University of Vienna congratulated Anton Zeilinger on the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics . In 2023, the University of Vienna was able to significantly improve in all three university rankings (THE, QS, Shanghai) , which are the most important due to its international visibility .
