Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) is a government-aided institution in Madurai, India that offers courses in engineering, architecture, and science. It was founded in 1957 by philanthropist and industrialist Shri. Karumuttu Thiagarajan Chettia industrialist Shri. Karumuttu Thiagarajan Chettiar. TCE is affiliated with Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). In 2024, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked TCE 15th among colleges in India. TCE offers: Undergraduate programs: Nine programs Postgraduate programs: Ten programs Doctoral programs: In engineering, architecture, and science TCE also supports research, development, and innovation initiatives through sponsored projects. These projects are supported by external funding sources but require initial capital to reach a stage where they can attract sponsorship.
