About Thanapandiyan Polytechnic College
Thanapandiyan Polytechnic was established in the year 1985 by Sasikala Memorial Educational Trust under the guidance of our Chairman LION – Thiru R.Pandian M.A. The institute offers six diploma courses in CIVIL, MECH,AUTO,EEE, ECE and CSE. The Inst ses in CIVIL, MECH,AUTO,EEE, ECE and CSE. The Institute is strategically located at near the Kappalur industrial estate in a serene atmosphere. It has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and the Government of Tamilnadu affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. Our Polytechnic College is situated at Koothiyarkundu, Austinatti Post just few km away from the city of Madurai on the Madurai-Kanyakumari National Highways. Ours most outstanding institution celebrated its Silver Jubilee Ceremony in 2010. We are pride in starting that multi-store buildings have been constructed for constituting spacious and ventilated lecture halls, well-equipped laboratories and workshops.To promote education of all types and grades by disseminating Scientific, Technical and Cultural knowledge for developing the standard of living among all sections of society. To grant scholarship and / or loan to all poor and needy for regular study and research, purchase of books, hostel facilities and assistance for study in India and abroad. To establish hospitals and create E-opportunities for the benefit of the differently abled. To sponsor and support community oriented projects.
