About Spurthy Institute of Nursing
The Spurthy Institute of Nursing was started in the year 2003. It was scripted by a team of dynamic and vibrant technocrats, research scientists, entrepreneurs, and mentors with an objective to encourage, foster, and create next-generation leaders in age, foster, and create next-generation leaders in health care, management, and science. The Spurthy Group has under its wings three hospitals – Athreya Hospital, Spurthy Hospital and Kavya Hospital. These multi-specialty hospitals with advanced facilities and departments like ICU, CCU, Emergency care, OBG, Pediatric, Neonatology, Orthopedic etc., ensure that the nursing students gain hands-on experience. Here, medical needs of students are also attended to. The College is recognised by the Karnataka State Nursing Council, Bangalore, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Various hospitals directly visit our institutions and conduct campus interviews. All our graduates are well placed in the reputed hospitals at Nation and International level.
