Welcome to the "S.o.S. in Computer Science & IT". It was established in the year 1992 under the aegis of this University and with the support of UGC and State Government. It is working as an academic department of the University. Currently, the Depar department of the University. Currently, the Department is running two years full time Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) and two years full time Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc.IT). Apart from this the department also conducts Ph.D. program. The Department is also providing research facilities and presently research scholars are working in the area of Parallel Computing and Computer Networking. Students of this department are employed abroad as well as in reputed organisations like TCS, NIC, CHIPS, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T etc. To impart quality education in order to develop human resource with world class competence and skills in Computer Science and IT field with high ethical values.
