Shama Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) was established in 20l6 by Shama Charitable Trust to initiate young minds in pursuit of knowledge and skills with enthusiasm and compassion. It is our earnest endeavor to provide them with the best of learni t endeavor to provide them with the best of learning opportunities to equip them in serving a society afflicted with poor health and alleviate the salerings of the unwell. At SIMS, we ensure every student is equipped with the best of both theory and practical experience. Having a tie up with HBS Hospital, a 100-bed multi-specialty hospital certified by NABH, helps provide opportunities to gain confidence and competent expertise during the practical phase. To be among the top three leading institutions providing paramedical education in the state of Karnataka by 2025. To develop skilled professionals with specialized knowledge and a strong practical experience. To inspire students to have deep empathy with patients and to contribute positively to society. Shama Institute of Medical Sciences (SIMS) was established in 2016 by Shama Charitable Trust to equip young minds in serving a society afflicted with poor health and alleviate the sufferings of the unwell. SIMS is attached to HBS Hospital, a 100-bed multi-specialty hospital certified by NABH, providing hands-on opportunities to gain confidence and competent expertise during the practical phase. Currently, 4 paramedical courses are being offered to candidates who have completed their SSLC or PUC. SIMS currently has more than 100 students across the 3 years. Most of the students come from the most deserving backgrounds and are first-generation learners.
