ITM (SLS) Baroda University, Vadodara, Gujarat India, has started School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences from the year of 2022. Increasing trend in field of healthcare has created demand for paramedical workforce and the healthcare system is expe edical workforce and the healthcare system is experiencing a major gap between supply and demand of paramedics. ITMBU is contributing to fill this gap through initiating various paramedical programmes. To be the premier department which develop and provide professionally qualified & high moral valued health workers who excel and become leaders in their chosen programme and contribute to the community, the nation and the world through its state of the art, professionally & industrially designed curriculum. To train students for becoming capable, efficient and committed human resources in the field of paramedical sciences. To provide individualized professional learning experience for each student. To develop critical thinking, analytical ability and skill among students. To make students who can work as a team, as a leader with persuasive skills, societal concern and ethics. ITM (SLS) Baroda University & Dean School of Pharmacy and School of Science. Dr. Kumar has also served as an Associate Dean, Pharmacy at Gujarat Technological University. He is having more than 26 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He served as a Professor & Head at Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He did his M. Pharm from Dr. H. S. Gour Central University, Sagar (M.P.) and Ph.D. from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. He has published more than 102 research and review papers in various National and International journals. He has received financial assistance under the Sci-Tech Project Scheme and also Minor Research Project from GUJCOST, Gandhinagar. He has also received financial assistance from DST, DBT, DRDO, ICMR, AICTE and GUJCOST etc. for organizing National & International conferences, seminars and workshops. National Collaborations: The University has multiple collaborations with local clinical laboratories, hospitals, diagnostic centers of Vadodara city as well as Gujarat state to provide best exposure to students for clinical training and make them job ready. ...view more
