The School of Education is committed to contribute to building knowledge society through developing cadres of high quality, professionally trained, qualified teacher educators. Under the Department of Education, the school offers Master of Education Education, the school offers Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education. The thrust areas of research include environment education, instructional designs, curriculum innovations, web-based instruction, inclusive education, value education, yoga education and multicultural education. The school emphasizes on paradigm shift to personalized instruction, development of multiple learning strategies and learner-centric classroom environment. The school was also funded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT). The school regularly conducts conferences, workshops, training programmes, professional development programmes and refresher programmes.
