About School of Economics, Central University of Kerala (CUK)
The School of Economics, Central University of Kerala aims to be a center for excellence in academic teaching and research in economics. Through its academic department i.e., Department of Economics, it offers M.A in Economics and Ph.D in Economics. it offers M.A in Economics and Ph.D in Economics. The academic department is equipped with ICT enabled class rooms, computer lab, access to data sets and analytical tools such as Statistical Package for Social Sciences. The school undertakes research projects funded by prominent organizations such as Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR); Kerala Women's Commission, Govt. of Kerala and; Inter University Centre for Alternative Economics, University of Kerala. The school regularly organizes seminars, workshops and training programmes for its students and University fraternity. From 2016-2021 a total of 21 PhD and Post-Doctoral research scholars are enrolled under School of Economics. More than 40 students from School of Economics has cleared competitive examinations such as UGC-NET, SLET, GATE, etc.
