SC/ST Cell, Kuvempu University

The Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Cell has been established to provide special assistance to both students and staff belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. The convener and the members of the cell are from the faculty. The ce e members of the cell are from the faculty. The cell sanctions fellowships and scholarships to SC and ST research students and also monitors the implementation of reservation and other policies and measures meant to help persons belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. The Cell also organises special remedial classes and coaching classes for the competitive examinations To be an institution of excellence in higher education that continually responds to the changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge, towards creating a people-centered and ecologically sustainable society that promotes and protects the dignity, equality, social justice and human rights for all, with special emphasis on marginalized & vulnerable groups.
