Name of the Deemed University, formerly known as Saveetha University has been changed to Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (Deemed to be University) with effect from 30th Nov. 2017 as per the University Grants Commission Letter No. as per the University Grants Commission Letter No.F.5-2017(CPP.I/DU) dated 29th November 2017 and compliance submitted to UGC in our Ref.No,SU/UGC/1971/A1/2017, dated 30.11.2017. We follow the MILA system of teaching wherein the class sessions are reduced to less than 20 minutes and upto an hour is spend on group learning with special focus on group expression skills. So everyday each student will need to articulate their thoughts to their peers. This practice over a long period of time will help you become an eleqoent public speaker. This will make you so confident that your own friends / family will be surprised by your transformation ! From 1988 to date we have travelled a miraculous journey that has transpired the institution from a novice to an expert. Although we stand tall and strong today, we should not forget our historic path; as these valuable experiences have carved our culture over the past 3 decades.
