We come together on the common ground known as ‘Celebrations’ for our morning assembly to sing the melody of admiration, share information, instill motivation, and start the day with the right amount of inspiration. This ritual is so powerful yet so comforting that it has been a part of SISTec-R since the very first day. This assembly hall is often used for many other college events including the annual techno-cultural fest, auto expos, project exhibitions, and more. A gym on campus reflects our firm commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Students have numerous options to participate in various athletic activities as well. We have an indoor badminton court as well as a dedicated sports room for indoor activities like table tennis, carrom, chess, and so on. Students can also participate in various sports and physical activities on the cricket ground, football field, volleyball court, and badminton court. These facilities not only provide a venue for students to demonstrate their abilities, but they also promote a healthy lifestyle. Students can participate in these sports to improve their teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. Furthermore, these sports facilities function as stress relievers for students, allowing them to take a break from their academic routine and dabble in some physical activity. Ultimately, the presence of these sporting facilities on campus encourages students to be healthy and active and enhances their general well-being. We have a Student Activity Council (SAC) that is completely structured for students only, through which they can become involved in the affairs of the college, working in partnership with college management, staff, and parents for the benefit of the college and its students. SAC consists of a President, a Vice President, Branch Coordinators, members of the Cultural Committee, a Digital and Media Committee, an Editorial Committee, a Hostel and Mess Committee, a Sports Committee, a Training and Placement Committee, and Class Representatives. This council is managed by a faculty coordinator, and the many students who are appointed following rigorous rounds of interviews ensure its seamless operation. Living in a hostel is an integral part of college life. SISTec-R’s hostel life is a unique experience that provides students with a sense of independence and responsibility. The students share rooms with their peers, and they learn to manage their daily routines and personal space. The hostel also offers opportunities for students to interact with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and regions. Hostel life can be challenging, but it also offers a lot of fun and memorable experiences. In the college, students have two options for physical nourishment: Mess and Canteen. The mess is managed by the college administration, and it serves a pre-determined fixed menu to all students and employees, with the option of multiple refills.
