Ramswarup Ramsagar Multiple (RRM) Campus Janakpurdhm was established in 1957 (2014 BS) with the objective of producing trained manpower in Humanities, Management, Science and Education sectors for the Government of Nepal in Terai region. It is one of Government of Nepal in Terai region. It is one of the constituent campuses of the Tribhuvan University (Nepal). It is one of the oldest educational institutions of Nepal and has helped to establish Janakpur as a center of education. The future scenarios of RRM depend on the contribution of political, social, cultural, geographical and economic environment. In rethinking education to cope with rapid changes at the threshold of 21st century, innovation, technology and research are indispensable tools of education. It faces socio-economic challenges and opportunities, political reform and cultural reawaking. Our main purpose is to make sustainable and professional development with inclusive education. The campus has prepared participatory strategic development plan to uplift the quality of education in Madhesh Province. In the beginning, the RRM Campus was running the Certificate Level Program (PCL) program for students to meet then requirement of the government. The campus focused its attention towards the higher level of academic programs i.e. Bachelor and Master level programs. Keeping in mind the demand of students and stakeholders the campus started Master level program (MA) in 1981 (2038 BS). Now it has running B.Sc. in CSIT, BIT, Microbiology, Physical group, Biological group, BBA, BBS, BA, B.Ed., One Year B.Ed. of Bachelor's Degree program and MBS, MSc (Math), MA in Sociology, Nepali, English, Math, Population, Economics, and M.Ed. in EPM, English, Math of Mater degree. The Campus has constantly contributed to the quality higher education. It has extended its physical infrastructure and academic programs in different subjects of education, humanities, management and science at Bachelor and Master levels. This campus has covered 69,07,821.75 sq. ft. (94 Bigha, 15 Katha and 3 Dhur) of land at Dhanusha district. At present it has 149 (Temporary 68 & Parmanent 81) teachers, 59 administrative staff and more than 9000 students. RRM Campus, Janakpurdham as center of academic excellence institute in Madhesh under TU aims at being a well institute for building nation providing intelligent and skillful manpower, give more emphasis in quality education and offering relevant courses with integration of modern technology in teaching, learning research and sports science and developing all needed physical infrastructure for education. RRM Campus, Janakpurdham has the mission of educating students and developing them into informed citizenry as well as producing quality human resources required for the nation by offering relevant academic courses, creating friendly and conducive environment for learning, facilitate all needed physical infrastructure for teaching learning and providing scholarship those who not join academic institute due to economics problem .
