RTMNU is one of India's oldest universities and the second oldest in Maharashtra, having been established in 1923. The university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Association of Indian Universities. RTMNU has a 373-acre campus and offers courses at the following levels: UG, PG, MPhil, and PhD.
