P D Patel Institute of Applied Sciences (PDPIAS), CHARUSAT

The P D Patel Institute of Applied Sciences (PDPIAS) is one amongst the constellation of colleges in the CHARUSAT Campus. It was launched in the year 2007 to impart education and conduct research in emerging areas of sciences such as, Biosciences, Ph merging areas of sciences such as, Biosciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Mathematical Sciences. A number of sponsored research projects are currently in progress and few are in the pipeline. Welcome to the Faculty of Science, P D Patel Institute of Applied Sciences, Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), on behalf of our whole faculty, staff, and students. As dean of the Faculty of Science, I am quite proud of the fact that we provide a comprehensive approach to student development through active participation in all aspects of education, including teaching, research, extension, and consultancy. We provide high-quality teaching, research, and a tranquil environment for those who join as teachers or students, thanks to our highly skilled and devoted faculty. Teaching and learning are important aspects of every academic programme. Its progress is monitored and evaluated on a regular basis as part of the curriculum. Our faculties play an important role in student supervision, personal and professional counselling, and career development. Knowledge is kept up to date by updating the curriculum on a regular basis to keep up with changing industrial and technological demands. The institute was established in 2007, and since then, it has grown significantly in both scope and size. with the intention of undertaking research in cutting-edge fields of Applied Sciences, such as the biological, physical, chemical, and mathematical sciences, as well as playing a key role in the teaching of graduate and post-graduate students. The PDPIAS has made a name for itself as a premier institution in both basic and applied sciences with a substantial footprint over the period of more than ten years. The academic community here is driven by a desire to establish an innovative, multidisciplinary institution that provides outstanding education, cutting-edge research, and good ethical practices. The Institute is dedicated to fostering brilliance, innovation, and creativity in all of its students. For the benefit of industry and society, multidisciplinary research and development is extensively supported by PDPIAS. We place a strong emphasis on building rounded leadership abilities. We are pleased to note that the Institute is well-positioned to take advantage of the synergy between interdisciplinary sciences. In doing so, we think the Institute will continue to develop distinctive and innovative programmes to significantly advance the field of science.
