Overseas Security Advisory Council, Kuwait (OSAC)

OSAC is a public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) and security professionals from U.S. organizations operating abroad. Together, OSAC members share timely security information and maintain ers share timely security information and maintain strong bonds for the protection of U.S. interests overseas. All OSAC products, events, and other resources are completely free and available to any U.S.-incorporated organization, their employees, as well as U.S. government, law enforcement, and military personnel. The mission of OSAC is to promote security cooperation between the U.S. private sector and the U.S. Department of State by fostering a global network of security professionals who exchange timely information and security best practices to mitigate risks to U.S. interests worldwide. These bonds and two-way information flow help to provide the broadest security perspective and widest scope of support. DSS and private-sector security representatives stay connected with each other and informed on potential threats through OSAC's: • Membership Groups: 150+ Country Chapters and 15 Common Interest Committees • 100s of year-round in-person and virtual events • Analysis reports, remote and on-site security consultations, and tailor-made benchmarking from our DC-based Analysts and Program Managers • Country Security Reports, providing context and insights on baseline security conditions for every country in the world • Daily curated news links through our newsletter • Broad and trusted network of support during a crisis or anytime All U.S.-incorporated organizations with operations outside the United States (corporations large and small, non-profit, academic, and faith-based institutions of any size) are encouraged to join OSAC.
