Nirmala Institute of Technology (NiT), the latest venture of Nirmala Institutions was established in 2018, with a view to training the students to meet the technical need of society. The diploma in engineering is a three-year course having six semest gineering is a three-year course having six semesters and examinations conducted by the Technical Education Board of Kerala. To become a name synonymous with excellence in higher education through consistent and all-encompassing knowledge management. To deliver, sustain and enhance quality education through learning, research, and extension using avant-garde technology. In this struggle for restoration, the need for skilled persons with practical knowledge is ever on the increase. The Central and State Governments in India have chosen skill development as a thrust area for some years now. In the struggle for restoration, the role of skilled technicians is even more. After SSLC, one has a choice to pursue one’s studies either to graduation or to a diploma. It takes a minimum of 5-6 years to obtain a graduate degree while one can pass a diploma course in 3 years. Nirmala Institute of Technology (NIT) is now an established technical college in Central Kerala under the prestigious Nirmala group of educational institutions. NIT commenced admissions in the year 2018 offering Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering diploma courses. This year we have obtained approval for starting Automobile Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering(EEE) diploma courses also. The institute is located just 12 km from Chalakudy town, in a calm, serene enclave surrounded by lush green nutmeg gardens. The coaching is focused and the faculty members dedicated, with long years of experience in industry and academia.
