Chemical Engineering Department has been recognized as Schedule-I Environmental auditor by Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gandhinagar and carried out Environmental audit work of many chemical industries since 2002. The department is having an NABL accreditated Environment audit lab as per the ISO-17025 : 2017. The institute has excelled in the academic performance by producing 07 GTU gold medalists since the inception of Gujarat Technological University in 2008 which includes 05 GTU gold medalists for Diploma in Chemical Engineering (2010, 2015, 2019, 2020, 2021), 01 GTU gold medalist for Diploma in Electrical Engineering (2010) and 01 GTU gold medalist for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (2021) at the university level. Recently the institute achieved 100% result with total 23 students securing 10 out of 10 SPI 6th semester summer 2021 exam.
