Sometime in the year 2012 a few retired Professors from PES College of Engineering envisioned the establishment of an engineering college which would provide quality education to aspiring students at an affordable cost and cater to the growing demand an affordable cost and cater to the growing demand of qualified engineers in our country. Thus the trust Mysore Royal Education Trust was established in the year 2013 and Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology opened to the engineering degree aspirants from the academic year 2015-16. The sprawling ten and a half acre campus is situated in the midst of lush green sugarcane and paddy fields of Palahally in Shrirangapatna Taluk of Mandya district. The college is easily approachable from both Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway and Krishnaraja Sagar main road. To emerge as a “Centre of Excellence” offering Technical Education and Interdisciplinary Research Opportunities of high standards to the students, develop the total personality of the individual, and high levels of discipline, in turn making our students technologically superior and ethically strong. 1. The Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology (MRIT) was established in the year 2015 under the aegis of Mysore Royal Educational Trust®, (MRET) in the year 2013. MRIT provides top notch infrastructure with campus-wide WiFi, amply ventilated and well lit roomy classrooms, well equipped laboratories, clean and hygienic canteen facility. The MRIT library with its diverse collection of well regarded books, journals and magazines is a place for students to enrich their knowledge. Bus facility is available from Mysuru, Mandya, Pandavapura, Bannur, Arakere, Shrirangapattana, Hunsur and Maddur.
