About Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology
Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology was inaugurated in the year 2001. It is run by Mount Zion Christian Educational Trust. This trust was formed in 1988 with the sole aim of providing education in the educationally backward district of P cation in the educationally backward district of Pudukkottai. The college since its inception has grown in leaps and bounds and is currently one of the best in the region. It strives to make all those who pass through its portals into innovative, hardworking engineers who will be of use to their places of work and to the society at large. Though young, the college has great plans for the future and the management is determined to transform Mount Zion into one of the best engineering institutions in the world.Mount Zion Christian Educational Trust was founded in 1988 with a focus to provide wholesome education to the students of all walks of life in the then educationally backward district of Pudukkottai. Mount Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School established in the same year, has since grown into the school of highest repute in the district.With the view of providing quality higher education, the trust came out with Mount Zion College of Engineering & Technology in August, 2001. Now it is one of the leading institutions in this area. When the Trustees extended their focus towards health care arena, Mount Zion College of Nursing was inaugurated in September, 2009 with a view to provide High Quality Nursing Education. It is the great desire of the trustees to produce professionally qualified & technically competent nurses from this institution to serve humanity.The trust established Mount Zion International School (CBSE) in 2011 in order to move the educational standard from national to international level. Mr. Jayabarathan Chelliah, Founder, who holds a master's degree in Educational Administration from the prestigious Loma Linda University U.S.A, along with his team of trustees who are dedicated, qualified educationists, has been governing these three institutions with foresight and meticulous planning. He has over 40 years of experience in managing various educational institutions. The relentless perseverance of the trustees for academic excellence ensures that students get the best of all aspects of education.
