MIT School of Government (MIT-SOG) has been conceptualized by Shri. Rahul V. Karad, the Executive President of Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University with a vision of creating Ethical, Spirited and Committed Political Leadership for the count d and Committed Political Leadership for the country from the grassroots and from all walks of life. MIT School of Government (MIT-SOG) is the first school of its kind to create future political leaders. Initiated in the year 2005, it offers a two-year Master’s program in Political Leadership & Government (MPG). The two-year Master’s degree is an experiential learning program wherein first year comprises campus based learning through classroom lectures by Core Faculties, Visiting faculties and Eminent Personalities from Politics, Social, Bureaucracy, Judiciary, media and Corporate. Along with lectures there are field visits and study tours. Second year comprises training and internships in following areas – Constituency based, Issue based/ NGO, Media and final career based internship with offices of Political leaders and Political parties.
