MES College of Nursing, Malaparamba

MES College of Nursing was started in the year of 2004 with the approval of Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council & University of Calicut with the in-take of 50 students per year for the B.Sc. Nursing Course. The First batch of our r the B.Sc. Nursing Course. The First batch of our Nursing College had passed out from the college in 2009. Now we are under Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur from 2010 onwards. College has also obtained permission from all concerned authorities for starting of M.Sc. Nursing with an intake of 20 students/ year i.e 4 students each in 5 Specialties and P.B.B.Sc. Nursing with an intake of 30 students per year from the academic year 2016-17 onwards. Our Nursing College has the rare distinction of being the first and only Nursing College that is attached to Medical College for providing clinical facilities for its students in Malappuram district and faculty of Medial College are taking classes of Basic Science to our students. MES College of Nursing is functioning in an exclusive four storied building with a spacious class room, most modern teaching technology and well-equipped laboratories for Fundamentals of Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Nutrition, Anatomy, Physiology and computer science. An excellent and scientifically classified library with a large number of essential periodical provides facilities to the student to do their reference and research work. Apart from the Academic proficiency, the aim at developing the cultural and sports talents of our student by giving them ample facilities and opportunities in those areas as well. A terms of highly qualified, well experienced and totally committed faculty members bestow their personal care and attention on the overall development of our student.
