Established in 2002, Medical Trust College of Nursing is one of the leading nursing education institutions in Kerala. The college is accredited by Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses and Midwives council and affiliated to Kerala University of Healt uncil and affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. 110 students are admitted to different courses each year. Students will have the opportunity to get hands on experience in super specialty nursing like Cardiac surgery, Cardiology etc. Many students have placed in pioneer health institutions and many of them are regarded as one among the best in the nursing profession because of their clinical acumen they have received from here. Faculty members are typically charged with the task of teaching, demonstrating, supervising and evaluating nursing students in class room, laboratory and clinical settings such as hospitals or other places where nurses work, like community health centres. Clinical practicum work generally involves taking students on rounds to visit various hospital floors, teaching them how to care for patients, guiding in research as well as showing them how to complete correct documentation of patient cases.
