Institute is running under Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat. Diploma Mechan l Education, Government of Gujarat. Diploma Mechanical engineering program is approved by All India council for technical education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. Mechanical engineering is an engineering branch that combines physics and mathematics principles with material science to design, analysis, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. The mechanical engineering field requires an understanding of core areas including mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, material science, structural analysis and electricity. In addition to these core principles, mechanical engineers use tools such as computer aided design (CAD), computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment, heating and cooling equipments and robotics. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. To develop technically proficient and ethically sound diploma mechanical engineers contributing to industry and society needs. To impart quality technical education.
