Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Jounalism and Communication is a UGC recognized institute, established in the year 1990. It is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and was named after Pandit Makhanlal Chaturvedi, a great editor, poet, litera Makhanlal Chaturvedi, a great editor, poet, literateur and freedom fighter in his era. The University has two campuses in Bhopal and its other three campuses are located in Datia, Khandwa and Rewa. MCNUJC is the first academic centre of excellence in the entire Asian sub-continent. It is also known as Makhanlal University and offers undergraduate, post-graduate as well as skill-oriented diploma courses in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Advertising and Public relations, Electronic Media, New Media, Cinema Studies, Computer Applications, Media Business Management, Library and Information Sciences and Communication Research. At the UG level, it offers BA, B.Sc., B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, and BLIS programs. While at the PG level, it offers MA, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, and MLIS.
