Khalsa College

Khalsa College Charitable Society, the premier-most institute of higher learning, was established by the leaders of the Singh Sabha Movement in 1892. They were inspired by the lofty ideals of the great Gurus. The society, at present, is managing 14 c t Gurus. The society, at present, is managing 14 colleges and 5 schools. Khalsa College, Amritsar has a glorious history of 129 years to its credit, as it ventured into setting up the 1st institution way back in 1892. It promotes secularism as its first three students admitted were from three different communities i.e. Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims in the first session.
