Established in 1965, Kendriya Vidyalaya Dogra Lines Meerut Cantt has been marching forward on the path of success, adding new milestones each year. Now it enjoys the reputation of being a unique institution excelling in academic as well as co-curricu tution excelling in academic as well as co-curricular activities. • Kendriya Vidyalaya Dogra Lines Meerut was establised in 1965. It was a three section school upto class 8th Only • The Vidyalaya was upgraded to class X in the year 1967. • The Vidyalaya was under the Higher Secodary System of Education with Science and Humanities Streams only. • Class XII was introduced in 1980 only with the introduction of +2 System of education with Science Stream. • In the year 1985 our Vidyalaya Topped the Region in Commerce Stream and Master Neeraj Lal got 98.2% marks; stood first in the entire Dehradun Region. Mr. Jitendra Mohan Saxena, PGT Commerce was awarded the Best Teacher in the Region for the same. He was the only teacher to be awarded in any stream • Class XI Commerce started in 1987. • In 2008-09 2 Sections of XI & XII Science were introduced. • In the academic year, 2009-10 2 sections in Commerce have been started.
