Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions is a join venture of Sri. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust, Jawahar Bharathi Education Trust, Shanthinikethan Educational Trust and Rabindranath Tagore Education Trust for the admission process of the courses run by t for the admission process of the courses run by the institution.Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust was established in the year 1983 in the State of Karnataka. P. Sadasivan and Late Smt. M. Baby are the founder trustees of the Trust. It is also managing the administration of Jawahar Bharathi Education Trust and Shanthinikethan Educational Trust at Bangalore. The Trust also associate with Rabindranath Tagore Education Trust in Kerala for the promotion of educational activities in Kerala along with Cultural & Tourism development and for the Ayurvedic Research Centre. Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust was established in the year 1983 in the State of Karnataka. P. Sadasivan and Late Smt. M. Baby are the founder trustees of the Trust. All the colleges under Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions are run by the above trust. We are happy to inform that most of our passed out students are placed in hospitals like Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and Columbia Asia, Bangalore ( Kamala Institute of Nursing was established under Shanthinikethan Educational Trust and is administered by Sir.M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust. The College of Nursing and the School of Nursing are recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and are now located permanently at RGC Campus, Cholanagar, Hebbal, R.T. Nagar post, Bangalore -32. It is attached with KC General Hospital under Government of Karnataka for the clinical teaching program. The college has also own medical OPD in the campus with an average of 200 patients daily.
