Christian Medical College Vellore through the Department of Hospital Management Studies & Staff Training and Development in collaboration with XLRI Delhi NCR Campus (www.xlridelhi.ac.in) administered by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamsh by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for conducting joint programmes on 23rd August 2023. The MOU signing ceremony was held at Christian Medical College Vellore where the dignitaries of both institutions signed the MOU, namely Dr. Vikram Mathews, Director, CMC Vellore, Dr. Solomon Sathishkumar, Principal, CMC Vellore, Rev. Fr. K.S. Casimir, S.J., Director, XLRI Delhi Campus and Rev. Fr. George Sebastian, S.J., Director, XLRI Jamshedpur. The Memorandum of Understanding facilitates the joint offering of various academic and professional programmes in the domain of healthcare and other related areas to address the needs of the healthcare sector regarding the development of high-quality managerial talent in this sector that has a critical role in society’s overall well-being. Through this collaboration, it is proposed to launch various management courses across the spectrum to effectively address the skill and knowledge requirements of healthcare professionals. The first course in this series will be launched in January 2024. This collaboration will facilitate the delivery of industry-specific, high-quality academic courses that equip candidates with relevant learning opportunities.
