JLD ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT COLLEGE (JEMC) is a B.Tech Engineering College Under ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (AICTE) and MAULANA ABUL KALAM AZAD UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, WEST BENGAL (formerly known as WBUT). It is situated at Mouza- (formerly known as WBUT). It is situated at Mouza- Begampur, Champahati, P.O.- Tentulia, P.S.- Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. It offers B.Tech in various disciplines like Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Inspired by the noble cause of education a Business man Mr. Jadu Lal Das and a successful Engineer Mr. Sushanta Das established a charitable educational trust, ”JIBS EDUCATIONAL TRUST” In 2008 to promote engineering education in rural areas of South 24 Parganas, W.B. Now the trust is running a Diploma Engineering College, an ITI College and a B.Tech / Degree level Engineering College successfully. The mission of the Institute is to set up a quality Engineering and Management Institute to provide education to the aspiring students who, with support and guidance from highly qualified and experienced faculties of the Institute will be groomed into competent Engineers. Such well groomed Engineers coming out from JEMC will serve and contribute in their respective field of excellence and play their roles in industrial, commercial and academic growth of the nation, thus leading the nation to a path of Industrial growth and prosperity.
