Late Dr. Diliprao Mothabhau More had established Jijamata Education Society in 1986 at Nandurbar in Maharashtra for the educational and Social Development of students in this zone. This organization has many educational institute and colleges such as as many educational institute and colleges such as Arts, science, & commerce Senior College, Junior College, Pharmacy College, B.Ed. College and St. Mother Teresa English School & Junior College. Also this organization is running distance course i.e. YCMOU courses, and planning to expand it’s activities for growth of organization.Jijamata College of Pharmacy is a part of Jijamata Education Society, which is sprawled in 05 acres amidst the picturesque satpuda hills, Nandurbar – Taloda road, embellished with modern architecture and vast open areas. Jijamata Education Society has been credited to be a pioneer in pharmacy education by starting Diploma Course in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy) in 1991, whereas Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy) course started in 2012 at Nandurbar. The college envisions a metamorphic change in the current perspectives and future prospect of pharmacists under its canopy of expert academicians.
