Jaycees Matriculation Higher Secondary School was started by Erode Junior Chamber in 1976 at LIC Nagar. In the year 1985, the Erode Jaycees as it was known then, formed Erode Jaycees Charitable Trust and entrusted the management of school. The school was upgraded as Matriculation School in 1986 and Higher Secondary School in 1993. The School proudly celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 2001.
